As many businesses adapt during COVID-19, Legend Acres Dog Training is developing new ways to bring high-quality, force-free, positive reinforcement dog training to customers. Through their new, on-demand dog training program, people will be able to receive the same dog training program as they would have in person via a virtual platform on their schedule from the comfort of their home.

Kristi Kay May, Veteran and founder of Legend Acres Dog and Horse Solutions and Legends Heroes Service Dog Training program, competed in the VETSymposium’s Scale Up Financial Pitch Competition, offered through the InLab at Hillsboro Community College.

Legend Acres will use the grant’s proceeds to record their training program and develop the on-demand courses web application.

This grant will allow them to accelerate this program’s development to make this available for customers in early 2021.

About the Legend Acres On-Demand Training Program
