Jeffrey Penfield spent more than 30-years in the Navy. He and other vet volunteers, all wearing camouflage hats, spend the weekend building at this “Veterans Village.”
“When you’re in the US military, it’s all about serving – giving of oneself for the greater good,” Penfield says. “And that doesn’t stop when you put the uniform away.”
