Trumps Shining City on the 1955 Hill

I actually have good friends VOTING for TRUMP.  They love the guy.  They believe government is out of control and he’s the savior to fix it.

And yes he really could have been a true revolutionary American hero savior for all the people if he just stayed on the populist message.

I believe he would have won our collective hearts in a landslide because the government is too big, too out of control, too impersonal and our Congress is completely out of touch.  We need massive political reform to make the USA a leader in democracy and freedom once again.  Trump was on to something.

Instead the Bozo version of Trump went full XENOPHOBIA and alienated the silent majority of Americans.  These folk live in our newly connected 21st century and are NOT buying the shitty 80’s lifestyle or his openly racist bigoted vulgar and violent sales pitch.  They are NOT part of the process yet and so it feels like Trump has majority support.  But these folk are out there in the millions and millions.  They will be heard very soon and it may be a very ugly and violent confrontation!

Now, as most of you know, 4 years ago I predicted a savior would show up and he’d be a false god.  And there he is in all his faux glory.

And now I am telling you that he totally screwed up his strategy.  After he overthrows the GOP at convention, he will pivot to the middle to woo back the independents and some that he has alienated.  But it will be too late.  He insulted the dignity of too many.  This is NOT 1955 folks. This is 2016 and the electorate is the NOT the same anymore.

America’s electorate was 92% white in 1955.  In 2016, it is just 63%.  There are 50 million Hispanic Americans and 8 million Muslim Americans.  70% of women are completely offended by Trump.  This is real folks!  He’s an strategic idiot for alienating these Americans.

Now what is scary is that these friends of mine are NOT normally racists or bigots. But here they are standing with an open racist bigoted openly violent condescending low class morally bankrupted shitty 80’s lifestyle salesman who makes fun of disabled people.

In short, they forgo the obvious sad weak low character of Trump for what they believe is a top of the foot chain predatory killer of strength because they are so desperate for something strong to save them from the future.

Now it’s possible that my friends are actually racist bigots but not likely. It’s just that human nature tends to look the other way when survival is at stake and these people believe it is. They live in fear. They are really scared and have been for a very long time now.  So they totally ignore his lack of character.

It is a primal feeling.

So the question begs “it is fear caused by something very real or is it Trumped up manufactured fear?
