Veterans Affairs Secretary, former P&G CEO testifies on Capitol Hill

Veterans Affairs Secretary and former Procter & Gamble CEO Bob McDonald testified on Capitol Hill on Tuesday.

The Cincinnati VA facility was at the center of the conversation over whistleblowers’ claims veterans were not getting the best care.

Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown had a lot of questions for McDonald. Brown wanted to know more about the investigation into whistleblowers’ claims of mismanagement in Cincinnati.

McDonald says there is a plan in place to correct any issues.hire vets

“It supports VA four agency priority goals and my five VA transformational objectives to modernize VA and improve the Veteran experience. Improve the employee experience. Improve internal support services,” McDonald told the committee.
