Home At Last is altering the course for entire families, perhaps even generations, according to a news release. Grassroots organization Springfield Strong is hosting a Veterans Day art exhibit and silent auction to help them do that.
Inspired by Home At Last, Springfield residents Trysta Herzog and Jessica Mahanstarted Springfield Strong as a way to use their skills and time to make a difference in their community, the release said.
Herzog, 31, is a graduate student at Missouri State University. A former journalist, she focuses on the storytelling, fundraising and marketing aspects of the organization.
