Senator John McCain, the Republican from Arizona whose war record was questioned by Donald J. Trump over the weekend, said on Monday that he does not want an apology but that the billionaire businessman should tell American veterans and their families that he is sorry.

“I think he may owe an apology to the families and those that have sacrificed in conflict and those who have undergone the prison experience in serving their country,” Mr. McCain said in his first comments on the matter on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Mr. Trump upended an event for social conservatives in Iowa on Saturday when he questioned Mr. McCain’s heroism. “He’s not a war hero,” Mr. Trump said. “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”hire vets

Mr. McCain said that he can take the criticism because he is in the political arena, but he called the notion that Mr. Trump does not like people who were captured inappropriate.

  1. John McCain, like father like son, a true loyal predictable Zionist asset.. His father abandoned his own men and ship to their fate after the Israeli deliberate attack on USS Liberty.

I never could understand how McCain became a war hero, perhaps for the numbers of planes he crashed…

Unlike other officers of his rank, he chose cashing in on a political career in favor of retirement.

The knees of all of his trousers have holes in them from decades of genuflection and crawling to get to where he is today. This is the “experience” he (and Hillary) brags about.

There is an army of loyal servants of Israel and the Zionist cause in America, and too bad for America, they are the decision makers on all levels of government and in all branches including economic and finance… That is why we see the country going to hell…

The American people are really not given much choice. I pretty much assume the War Party has Hillary Clinton the real candidate secured deep in their pockets for 2016. Nothing will really change that much in America.

I think Donald Trump is just playing showman. He is and always has been an oaf. But, he does raise the frightening specter that, in America, he just could be elected President.

As I said so many times during George Bush’s reign, “Anyone can be elected President in America, One just was!”

Donald Trump ticket is a repeat of the McCain vs Obama fiasco in 2008, to get Obama elected. The alternative to Obama was unthinkable.

This is the biggest and most immediate problem of all: Corporations and Lobbys, in particular foreign lobbys, have no vote under the US Constitution, and should not be permitted any financial influence in the US electoral system.

The McCain-Lieberman election funding reforms of 2008 which opened up local elections to funding from other states across the nation is an unconstitutional example of just one of the many things which is wrong with the system and must be changed. No thanks to McCain and Lieberman, the opposition has almost unlimited resources upon which they can call for funding from other parts of the US.

Just ask “dear friend” Dianne Feinstein or Hillary Clinton where she gets the majority of her campaign funds… they come from AIPAC, and she attends AIPAC promotional dinners and conventions, where? In New York and Washington,D.C., and in Tel Aviv, where the money comes from which will decide whom you can marry, what you can smoke, whether you are fit to adopt children and have Dan by your bedside in the ICU when you eventually die!

You do not need a “new” party, or a “new” majority, you need a new and reformed electoral system which removes the influence of Corporate and Lobby money and influence from “American” politics, both US and Canadian; Gets the votes counted accurately without manipulation, and restores the value of a vote to each individual who is qualified to vote.

A great many Americans do not vote because they are aware, or believe with just cause, that their votes do not count
    .
As Finian Cunningham said on these pages recently: “… what US voters should be saying to the whole dysfunctional system is: “You’re fired!”

As Joseph Stalin said, “It matters little how the people vote. What matters is who counts the vote.”

Information! Inform the uninformed and indifferent masses. Bombard them with facts. That is all we can do.
